St. Paul’s Springvilleis please to announce that our beloved Deacon, Jerry Hilfiker became Father Jerry in a much anticipated Service of Ordination, conducted by Bishop Sean Rowe of the Episcopal Dioceses of Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
Father Jerry, along with Rebecca Harris, Patricia Lavery and Rosaleen Nogle of the Dioceses of WNY & NWPA and Kathleen Moore of the Diocese of Vermont were all ordained by Bishop Sean in a small private service in Erie, PA. The service, which was not open to the public due to Covid-19 restrictions, was live-streamed via YouTube and on Facebook and is available for viewing HERE.
Our St. Paul’s family is very proud and happy to congratulate Fr. Jerry and all of the new priests on this great and glorious accomplishment!
